We're certainly just now at a precipice and just where we go from here is uncertain. What we do know now is there are going to be compounding effects on our real estate market, but just how great those fluctuations will be and what kind of effect on pricing we will see, is yet to be known.
I'm sharing the same information with all of my clients right now: if you don't need to sell your home in the next few years, I'd be holding on to my property. But if there was something necessitating a sale for me in the next 12 months, I'd be rushing to get my home ready for market as soon as possible to be sure to take advantage of the still relatively stable market prices, paired with low inventory. It's all a risk/reward strategy that has to be talked out with each homeowner, and I'm happy to discuss all options on an individual basis.
