For buyers in the upper reaches of the real estate market, the greatest luxury is health. Having trended over the past decade and spurred by the current pandemic, high-end consumers are actively searching for properties with upgrades such as deluxe air filtration systems, built-in water purifiers, and windows that block harmful UV rays.
The luxury apparel and accessories consignment industry has been driven primarily - but not exclusively - by millenials and Gen Z. The industry grew to $24 billion before the pandemic and has been projected to reach $51 billion by 2023.
Tulum, Mexico, known as one of the most popular vacation destinations for the rich and famous, will be getting a new luxury airport, slated for completion in 2023. Announced this week by Mexico's President, the new airport will include a luxury terminal for high-level visitors arriving by private jet as well as a regular terminal for all commercial travelers.
